F1 System

The Bose F1 System is the newest pro audio that Bose has to offer.  The system includes the F1 812 as well as the F1 Subwoofer.  The 812 is the first ever powered portable speaker with an adjustable vertical audio coverage.  The 812 speaker has an adjustable spine of high output mid/high drivers, a high powered internal woofer, a lower crossover point to allow the bass to shine, and a 1,000-watt amplifier.

The eight mid/high drivers can be configured in four different ways.  The bottom three speakers can be channeled down, making a “J” shape of the front grill for instances when front row seating is below the level of the speakers.  The top three speakers in the 812 can also be adjusted to allow those in rear seating the same experience as audience members in the front.  The intelligent design of the F1 812 speaker automatically adjusts the EQ of the system to maintain the optimum tonal balance.

The F1 Subwoofer is an outstanding achievement of engineering.  Within its relatively compact form factor, the 1,000-watt subwoofer houses two 10-inch high-excursion drivers.  Setting up the F1 system is made easy with a mounting stand incorporated in the subwoofer’s housing.
